Trash English electróncia or WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) has become a major environmental threats ambiente.Esto pollutants has led to countries like Canada and European Union countries have strengthened their laws to lessen the amount of waste.
In Canada more than 140,000 tons of equipment such as computers, telephones, televisions, stereos and small home appliances accumulate each year. The Council of Ministers of the European Union and the European Parliament adopted Directive 2002/96/EC of 27 January 2003 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and in 19 articles sets out the rules on this subject (see Official Journal European Union).
